The
E13-B MICR font is used to print MICR encoding
on bank checks and drafts in the United States, Canada and several other countries.
The E13-B MICR font contains ten specially designed numeric characters 0 through
9, and the four special symbols, as seen in the graphic displayed above.

IDAutomation also distributes another Magnetic Ink Character Recognition
(MICR) font called the
CMC-7 font which is used
for check printing in France, Mexico and several other countries. An additional
font that looks similar to the MICR E13-B font is the
OCR-A and OCR-B font. This
font is used to print bank checks in Germany and a few other countries.
